A huge thank you to the fantastic HR Team at Central Beds Council, for choosing CHUMS as their Charity of the Year throughout 2026. Your enthusiasm, generosity and passion for supporting CHUMS have been incredible, and we're so grateful for everything you're doing to support local families.
Last Sunday, a group of the team took on an impressive 12km sponsored walk around Old Warden and Shuttleworth in the scorching sunshine
, raising funds for our baby loss support service in loving memory of Lennie. What a really beautiful way to honour his memory.
So far this year, the team have brought their colleagues together , organising a Eurovision Sweepstake, a World Cup Sweepstake, raffles and other fun fundraising activities, and we can't wait to see what creative ideas they come up with over the rest of the year. ![]()
Support like this means so much to us. Every fundraiser, every raffle and every sponsored challenge helps CHUMS continue being there for children, young people and families across our community, providing specialist support through some of life's most difficult moments — whether that is through our Babyloss Service, Trauma Service, Recreational and Therapeutic Service, Bedfordshire Suicide Bereavement, Friendship Scheme or Bereavement Service or our other vital services. ![]()
If you are inspired to support us, either in your workplace, business, school or community group, we would love to hear from you. Whether it's choosing us as your Charity of the Year, organising a fundraising event, taking on a sponsored challenge or bringing people together for a fun activity, every ounce of support we receive, allows us to reach more families.
Thank you again to the wonderful HR Team at Central Bedfordshire Council. We really do value your dedication, generosity and the difference you are making for CHUMS and the families we support. ![]()
